Hi! My name is Jamie and I'm a amature digital photographer. The camera that I am currently using is a Nikon D3000, which I LOVE. I got it this past February as a birthday gift to myself.
Digital photography has been a hobby of mine for a while now. I started with a Canon point and shoot which was a very nice camera but when my mom got her Nikon D60 I was immediately smitten and wanted one. I waited a little over a year before I finally jumped on the DSLR train....I don't know why I waited so long!
Besides this blog one of the fun things that I do with my photographs that I've taken is enter them into Open Class shows at some of our local County Fairs. I wasn't aware that these classes even existed until about 3 years ago. Now I'm entering about 3 fairs a year.
